Hey Duggee is a BBC CBeebies tv show for small children, created by the award winning StudioAKA. We recently worked on a brand new game to support the series, called Hey Duggee: Come and Play!

The game was built using our level editing software PhaserLE and had to support a wide range of devices. The game will run well on all iOS devices, most Android devices and we also supported lesser known ones such as the Tesco Hudl, which are popular with the demographic.

The game features an interactive clubhouse that leads the player into 3 different activities. Within the clubhouse children are able to interact with characters from the show, by tapping on each one respectively. To keep things interesting, each time the clubhouse is loaded, different characters will be shown.

One of the activities children get to interact with is a hide and seek game, where either a frog or chicken will hide and have to be spotted by the user and tapped on.

In this mini game, the player has to tap on the barrel they think the character is hiding in. The barrels move around once the user has made their decision, mimicking a traditional game commonly played with plastic cups.

Last but not least, Hey Duggee Come and Play also features a music toy, allowing children to create their own music by tapping on different sheep.

We are really proud to have worked on this project, and look forward to hearing about the experiences your own children had with the game. If they liked it, or hated it, let us know!
